One of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Norman Rockwell inspired American culture with his famed “Four Freedoms” series and cover illustrations of everyday life in the “Saturday Evening Post” as well as “Boys Life”. Over 25 years Rockwell was commissioned to illustrate only (6) movie posters, the offered pair are the last two he ever designed the art work for with: 1960 “Cinderfella” starring Jerry Lewis & 1966 “Stagecoach” a remake of the 1939 classic Western.
Original 27”x41” US 1 sheet unrestored movie poster. There is toning present along the edges as well as fold lines with most located at the bottom of poster. While paper loss is present, it is mostly in the form of exaggerated pin holes located along the borders. Colors are vibrant.
Original 27”x41” US 1 Sheet unrestored poster. The poster displays minimal toning with light fraying on the left edge. Artwork displays brilliantly with no pin holes present, there are (3) small holes where the fold lines meet (an easy fix for an experienced restorer).
These two items are stored in their original folds and ship flat.
