Non-Sport connoisseurs get a big jump on assembling a complete set of Topps 1962 Civil War News, with this near set of (68/88) cards, and (17/17) currency inserts. Few bubble gum card issues match this grim and graphic series in its depictions of battlefield bloodshed, and despite its gruesome nature, it ranks as a hobby favorite. This high quality collection is very pleasing overall, with the cards ranging (90% NM to NM-MT, 10% slightly lesser); and the currency notes ranging (EX to NM-MT), with deference to the original factory folds. Highlights are card #1 "The Angry Man", and card #88 "Check List", which is unmarked. Also present are (9) duplicate currency notes.
